On the day of the Architectural Challenge, I had woken up to a complete fog-in. I kissed my wife and said, “I gotta go early!” On the way through Maple Bluff to Downtown, I pass this little park and thought it was right out of England. Or a werewolf movie. I stopped and jumped out of my truck (startling an early morning jogger) and ran into the park a dozen yards. I think I even left the car door open.
