Jake Jordan’s Benefit Golf Outing
Over the last several months it’s been a joy getting to know the Jordan family. Our kids play together, our wives chat together, and Jon and I watch Iron Eagle and drink PBR together. It’s good stuff. So when my friend Jon asked me to help him put together a brochure and website quick for his son, Jachin’s, Golf Outing benifiting The Surge-Weber Foundation i jumped at the chance to help out anyway i could for the Golf Outing, especially since i cause more damage to the green than gophers.
So, I took some portraits and this photo, and slapped them into a brochure and website. It’s a set of hickory clubs, and of course the golfball (i PS’d the logo on in post-production).
Jachin was born here in Madison WI in June of 2007 with Sturge-Weber syndrome as well as Klippel-Truenany. He came into this world with a port-wine stain birthmark covering 70% of his body, including his entire face. At two days he was diagnosed with glaucoma in both eyes and at 10 weeks he experienced his first of many seizures due to the birthmark being in the right hemisphere of his brain. He is such a strong little boy and is a great blessing to all who know him, but he faces an uphill battle. Please help us to raise support for the Sturge-Weber Foundation so important clinical trials can get funding to try to cure this debilitating disorder.
The golf outing will be May 22nd, in Waunakee. If you’re interested, you can learn more about The Jake Jordan Golf Outing Benefiting The Sturge-Weber Foundation.
